Parkinson’s disease
Parkinson's disease is a progressive neurological disease that affects movement. It is caused by the death of neurons that produce dopamine in a part of the brain that is known as the substantia nigra.Parkinson's disease causes tremors, stiffness, slowness, and balance and coordination issues. Depression, anxiety, and cognitive impairment might develop as the illness advances.Parkinson's disease has no cure; however, treatments may improve symptoms and quality of life. These may include medication to enhance brain dopamine, physical therapy to improve movement and coordination, and speech therapy to treat speech and swallowing issues. Surgery may reduce symptoms.Parkinson's patients may benefit from regular exercise, a good diet, and adequate rest.

Daily activities: Parkinson's disease may make getting dressed, bathing, and eating harder owing to movement issues and other symptoms.
Falls: Stiffness and balance issues may lead to falls and fractures.
Despair and anxiety: Parkinson’s disease may cause despair and anxiety.
Dementia: Parkinson's illness may cause dementia.
Sleep disorders: Parkinson's disease may cause insomnia, sleep apnea, and RLS.
Difficulty swallowing: Parkinson's disease affects the swallowing muscles, making eating and drinking difficult.
Speech and communication issues: Parkinson's disease may damage speech muscles, making speaking and communicating difficult.
